Patapir had never known any woman. Ifapi lived far upriver with her father in a village of Merip. Ifapi would stay home all day.Ifapi was a shy girl who hid herself from young men when they would visit. Ifapi went to live with her aunt who lived alone. When others would ask Ifapi's aunt about her she would answer that Ifapi was not well. Patapir would ask his mom about Ifapi. Patapir went to visit Ifapi's aunt and there he seen her. He approached Ifapi.
